Asian food court london

The "Bang Bang Oriental Foodhall" in London, England, is an impressive culinary center that is considered the largest Asian food court in the city. Located in North London, it offers a unique blend of gastronomy, culture, and community that attracts visitors from all over the world. The restaurant concept is based on a vibrant marketplace that brings together over 25 different stalls and kiosks under one roof, inviting guests to explore the diversity of Asian cuisine. It is a place suitable for a quick snack or a leisurely meal with friends or family, and it stands out for its versatility.

Diverse asian cuisine experience

The food selection at the "Bang Bang Oriental Foodhall" is overwhelming and covers a wide range of Asian culinary delights, from India to China to Japan. Particularly noteworthy are the hand-pulled noodles from Very Duck, prepared at the live station and delighting with their intense flavor, for example in an aromatic beef soup. Equally popular is the Nasi Goreng from Coconut Tree, a spicy rice dish served with meat, seafood, or vegetarian options, known for its balanced seasoning. The Dim Sum from Royal China One68 is another highlight – the steamed shrimp dumplings and fluffy Char-Siu buns offer an authentic taste reminiscent of the street markets of Asia. For dessert lovers, there are the fluffy Japanese soufflé pancakes from Fluffy Fluffy, which are topped with various toppings such as berries or Oreo crumbs. The variety also extends to vegetarian and vegan options, ensuring that every guest finds something suitable.

Vibrant marketplace in london

The drinks menu is equally impressive, offering a wide range of Asian-inspired beverages. The bubble tea from Chatime or Tiger Sugar is particularly popular, with their characteristic tapioca pearls and fruity or milky variations serving as perfect companions to the dishes. At the Pearl Lounge Bar, there is also a selection of cocktails, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages to round off the experience. For larger groups or special occasions, the Foodhall also offers packages with unlimited drinks, which are very popular for celebrations.

Authentic dim sum dishes

The atmosphere at the "Bang Bang Oriental Foodhall" is lively and inviting, inspired by Asian street markets. The modern design with open cooking stations allows guests to watch the chefs at work, adding an interactive touch to the experience. The seating is spacious and can accommodate hundreds of visitors, although it can get crowded on busy days. In addition to food, there is a community area on the mezzanine used for events such as dance classes or cultural activities, as well as a supermarket and beauty services that expand the offerings. The background music is subtle and creates a pleasant atmosphere without being intrusive.

Four Seasons: I have noticed a couple of times now when ordering food from this stall, there was a big change and it is disappointing when it comes to ordering noodles. The meat they add into seems re-used as it taste old , texture is so hard and dry and what they tend to do is mixed and hide it in the noodles they make as it won’t be obvious to know. It’s so not right as we pay for what they charge therefore they should serve fresh food & not with a recycle cooked meat in it.

Bang Bang Oriental Foodhall has something for everyone. The diverse range of food from all across Asian situated under one roof allows you to experience multiple cultural cuisines all at once. You may be tempted to order at the first vendor you see but I highly recommend taking a walk around the entire hall before making your decision due to the sheer variety on offer. The mains at most of the vendors are quite generous and I would recommend sharing dishes if you want to try multiple things as one dish is enough to fill up the majority of people. Also keep in mind that there is an additional fee for takeaway boxes at most vendors so I would suggest bringing your own if you don’t think you’ll finish your meal. The hall is quite popular and can get very crowded, especially on weekends so I would take that into account if you don’t do well with large volumes of people (like myself). That said there is plenty of seating but even then it can be hard to find a table, however there are lovely staff always on hand to clear down and set up tables quickly so that as many people as possible can enjoy the food hall. Like I said earlier there is a large variety of dishes on offer here but also if you’re just looking for a quick snack or dessert to settle your cravings there are multiple options such as Bubble tea, Bingsu and even a lovely bakery as you enter. I would recommend making a visit here at least once if you’re in the area for the convenience and variety of food on offer.

Been heard loads of times now. Never been disappointed by food. If you go on weekends near dinner time then expect to struggle to find seating and expect long wait times from vendors.

This place is….. EXCELLENT! I was here a couple of times and all the shops are brilliant ideas! There’s this Halal chicken place and my favourite dish is Sweet chilli. The ice cream is so great it’s on the right beautiful! I eat the strawberry on the side which is like some time of milk which is pretty good with the ice cream! That’s really all I get from there but this place is a brilliant idea from the person who created this. They could’ve made this because there’s a lot of Chinese cultures in London.

Food is good, only visited the vegetarian outlet but this is similar to a food court but a bit upmarket, the tables are cleaned regularly and everytime I have been it's been extremely busy, no matter what time if day. Food is a little expensive considering it is a food court.

Long queue to get seated ,as they don't have a booking system . Had to stand ( with a wheelchair user as well) in a crowded cold corridor and it was chaotic. The food is very good but service levels are poor , having to repeatedly request things and our old food plates just sat on our table for way too long until the third request for removal. It was noisy, as it's packed , and not warm . We left somewhat exhausted. The food is very good , it's packed , the eating area seats 150 people so it feels like a manic " soup kitchen" . If you can put up with all these challenges and vexations, but value good well cooked and lovely fresh food above everything else it's fine , but not for us .
